As of today, the leading German coffee-maker Tchibo requires 30 to 50 cents more per 500 g pack.
This is due to the higher purchasing prices for green coffee and the weaker euro (to the US dollar).
For example, the best-selling coffee “Feine Milde” will cost € 5.99 instead of € 5.69.
Then rather a few more euros for really good coffee – such as direct trade & organically grown 😉
