10% off the first German Cold Brew Coffee Lemonade
I was skeptical. After coming across coffee lemonade this year in London and being totally flashed, I did not know if the first German Coffee Lemonade could keep up. Then yesterday my 0.25ml Caffezza tin was delivered. From the outside, the small matt gold red tin looks very valuable. And Caffezza also received the German Innovation Award this year. After the little has spent the night in the fridge, lets have it.
What’s in it
Cold brew made from 100% Arabica coffee, sparkling carbon dioxide and tart fruit. In the description of ingredients you will find even more: 9% strong coffee infusion, sugar, carbon dioxide, citric acid, liquid coffee extract and natural flavor. Unfortunately, I still do not know which fruits contribute to the taste. In addition to coffee beans, cherries, half a lemon and cinnamon sticks are displayed on the tin – and yes, you can taste it. The cherry flavor comes out most clearly and gives the soda a little sweetness. The lemon gives a little freshness kick. If you do not like cinnamon, do not worry, it only completes the taste and is hard to taste. For my taste a really round thing! Makes you awake, not too sweet and not too carbonated. Small drawback – I would like to know where the coffee comes from and whether it is organic and fair or direct traded.
My tip for the weekend
You have to try the lemonade as a coffee cocktail. My absolute favorite is the combo with Brugal Extra Viejo from the Dominican Republic. But another brown rum will do it too. Simply add 2-4 cl in a long drink glass with ice cubes and pour over the Caffezza coffee lemonade. Garnish with orange zest, straw in and cheers. There are even four other coffee cocktail recipes on the Caffezza website, based on Rum, Gin, Licor 43 and Cointreau.

Caffezza is from Frankfurt am Main. Accordingly, you get the coffee lemonade in the part of Germany already in many supermarkets. Otherwise, there you can get the cans all over Germany at Globus or in Berlin via hoffmannbringts.de. There is an up-to-date overview on the website.
