💡 Tips for Perfect Ice Cubes
- Use filtered water.
- If you want crystal clear ice cubes, you’ll need an insulated icebox in addition to the ice cube shape.
- Ice cubes made from the same coffee as your iced coffee will prevent the dilution from the melting ice cubes.
- If you are into small taste bombs, you can also freeze spices such as cinnamon, cardamom or flowers and fruits with the water. This not only gives a nice effect in the glass, but also ensures a taste explosion on your tongue.
- If you need to go fast, freeze hot instead of cold water. Sounds weird, but it works thanks to the Mpemba effect.
